We are active along selected value chains in the areas of agrifood, construction & innovation and digital platforms. We combine international experience, local presence and long-term commitment. Our projects arise from real market needs, use existing resources and are designed for scalability, efficiency and sustainability from the outset.
DUKRA agro has been a successful agricultural company in Ukraine for over 20 years and is a central component of the DUKRA-Invest ecosystem. Today, the company cultivates around 4,000 hectares of agricultural land in the municipalities of Mankivska, Talnivska and Dmytrushkivska in the Cherkassy region.
The main crops grown there are cereals, oilseeds and sugar beet, with modern agricultural technologies and high quality standards ensuring stable production.
With its own infrastructure, grain storage facilities and an efficient fleet of vehicles, DUKRA agro covers the entire production cycle – from cultivation, harvesting and storage to logistics and initial processing. Around 50 qualified employees work on the farm in production, complemented by local partnerships, technical expertise and reliable operational processes.
DUKRA agro is also a responsible local player: the company is involved in social and cultural projects in the communities and maintains stable relationships with local partners and authorities. This regional rootedness not only enables a resilient agricultural business, but also creates the basis for further development projects.
As part of the strategic development, a new production line for popped grain is currently being built, which will allow locally produced grain to be processed directly on site into high-quality foods such as cereals, snacks and muesli bars. This plant is scheduled to go into operation at the end of 2026 and will serve both the Ukrainian market and the export market.
DUKRA agro is therefore not just a traditional agricultural business, but an operational engine for value creation that combines agriculture, technology and market opportunities – and forms a solid basis for further innovation and industrialization projects in the DUKRA network.

Innovative puffing systems expand cereals such as wheat, spelt, maize, oats and buckwheat in a controlled, reproducible and highly efficient way. This technology preserves the natural structure of the grain while improving its texture and nutritional value.
The “Popped Cereals” project aims to establish industrial food production in Ukraine on the basis of modern puffing technology. Building on the many years of agricultural experience of DUKRA agro and the entrepreneurial development expertise of DUKRA invest, the existing agricultural value chain is being expanded to include the processing of cereals into high-quality, functional food ingredients. The company produces natural, popped grains such as wheat, spelt, maize, oats, buckwheat and amaranth from its own raw materials.
Production takes place in Ukraine using advanced puffing systems from the Swiss company CEREX AG, which enable controlled, reproducible and efficient processing. The technology used preserves the natural structure of the grain while improving the texture and functional properties for use in cereals, snacks, granola and other food applications. It is marketed through B2B customers, breakfast cereal and snack manufacturers and food retailers, including white label, co-branding and strategic partnership models.
ecoHAB already fulfills eight of the seventeen UN Sustainable Development Goals.
ecoHAB Ukraine is based on a strong international partnership: the patented technology comes from the University of Göttingen, SMARTER HABITAT holds the global marketing rights and DUKRA invest is responsible for the implementation for the Ukrainian market as the master licensee. Together with DUKRA agro as the local agricultural partner, a sustainable, plant-based construction panel is being created that combines agriculture, technology and the construction industry in a sustainable cycle.
Bio-based, environmentally friendly and CO2-neutral building material – researched, developed and tested by the Fraunhofer Institute and the research team at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen.
Everyone is waiting for a sustainable building material to counteract the climate crisis. ecoHAB is made from purely natural products and is reusable, recyclable and compostable.
fulfills 8 of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals: e.g. climate protection, economic growth, sustainable cities, responsible consumption and production.
ecoHAB is an innovative, bio-based building material made from agricultural raw materials such as maize and hemp that sets new standards for sustainable construction. Developed on the basis of many years of research in collaboration with the University of Göttingen and the Fraunhofer Institute, ecoHAB combines ecological responsibility with industrial performance.
Ukraine is considered the breadbasket of Europe and has considerable agricultural resources – in recent years alone, more than 20 million tons of maize have been exported each year. ecoHAB makes sensible use of this potential and creates regional added value that intelligently combines agriculture and the construction industry.
ecoHAB is based on a patented composite system of natural fiber laminates and a core of popped corn granules. The outer layers consist of natural fibers such as hemp, flax or other agricultural residues, which are processed with natural resins under high pressure. The core provides excellent insulation, stability and weight properties. The result is a high-performance construction panel that is resistant to water, heat, pests and fire while remaining fully recyclable.
Especially in the context of Ukraine’s reconstruction, ecoHAB offers real added value: the project strengthens local agriculture, creates industrial jobs and enables the production of a sustainable, cost-efficient building material directly in the country. This creates a closed value creation cycle that combines economic stability, ecological responsibility and social development – a sustainable contribution to the reconstruction and long-term transformation of the country.
ecoHAB is a green, high-quality and particularly durable building material made from natural fibers and bio-based resins. It is water-, heat- and pest-resistant as well as fire protection-compliant and impresses with its high structural load-bearing capacity and low weight. The material is fully recyclable and is not only designed to be CO₂-neutral, but also has an active CO₂-binding effect thanks to the use of plant-based raw materials. At the same time, it does not require sand, cement or water-intensive production processes. Thanks to its excellent insulation properties, ecoHAB contributes to considerable energy savings in building operation and reduces noise and construction waste on the building site. The lightweight components enable ergonomic working, significantly shorten construction times and make heavy machinery largely superfluous.
